Fortis Insurance has appointed Steven Braekeveldt (47) as CEO of Fortis Insurance International Europe, with effect from 1 December 2007. Steven will be in charge of the European insurance operations of Fortis outside Belgium and the Netherlands. He will report to Peer van Harten, CEO of Fortis Insurance.

Steven succeeds Jacob Westerlaken, who has accepted a position outside Fortis. Before joining Fortis Insurance in 2006, Steven worked for ING, with banking and insurance responsibilities in Hong Kong, Singapore and Mexico.

Peer van Harten says: "Fortis Insurance International has undergone tremendous growth over the last years and I am certain Steven's broad international experience in insurance and banking will help him do a sterling job in driving forward our activities. I would like to thank Jacob, for his contribution to strengthening Fortis's position as an innovative and international player. I wish him the best of luck in his future endeavours."

Steven comments: "I was attracted to Fortis because of its proven track record in multi-channel distribution. Now, as CEO FII Europe I am delighted to have the opportunity to really contribute to Fortis's international expansion strategy."

On November 7, 2007, after receiving final approval from the regulatory
authorities, BNP Paribas completed the full acquisition of Bulgarian
consumer credit leader JetFinance International through its subsidiary
Cetelem.

Consumer credit specialist JetFinance International has a portfolio of
around 500,000 clients. Its production and outstanding consumer credit grow
by over 60% in 2006, and this trend has continued in 2007.

The acquisition was announced in the summer and finalized today. It
strengthens Cetelem's No.1 position in consumer credit in Continental
Europe and confirms its capacity to offer a genuine pan-European product to
its distribution

New York -- The Board of Directors of Citigroup Inc. today announced that Robert E. Rubin, Chairman of the Executive Committee of Citi and a member of the Board of Directors, will serve as Chairman of the Board.

In addition, Sir Win Bischoff, Chairman of Citi Europe and a member of Citi's Business Heads, Operating and Management Committees, will serve as acting Chief Executive Officer. The Board also announced that Charles Prince, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, has elected to retire from Citi. The Board has designated a special committee consisting of Mr. Rubin, Alain J.P. Belda, Richard D. Parsons, and Franklin A. Thomas to conduct the search for a new CEO.

Mr. Prince commented, "We have made strong progress in our strategy for building for the future, evidenced in the momentum we have achieved in most of our businesses.

Tokyo/New York -- Citi announced today that it has received approval from the Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) to list the company's shares on the TSE under the name "Citi" effective on November 5, 2007.

"Citi is listing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange because we believe in the continuing prominence of Tokyo as a global financial center and view Japan as an attractive market for growth," said Charles Prince, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Citi. "We have been fortunate to operate in Japan for more than a century, and we look forward to the next 100 years of serving our clients and investors in this dynamic market."

"Our TSE listing, along with localizing our banking operations and forming our strategic alliance with Nikko Cordial, move us even closer to becoming the leading comprehensive banking and securities group in Japan," said Doug Peterson, CEO, Citigroup Japan Holdings. "Every day, we are focused on providing our clients with broader services and products that will better serve their needs, while also contributing to the ongoing evolution of the financial services industry in Japan."

New York - Today Citi announced that it has reached a significant milestone in its "green" building program by earning a Gold Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification for the first time. The prestigious designation from the U.S. Green Building Council was awarded in a ceremony today at Citi's newly constructed, 15-story skyscraper at Two Court Square, Queens, New York. The office tower, which opened in August, is home for 1,500 employees.
