Deutsche Bank to act as Sub-Custodian/
The link will be available as of May 18.

Clearstream via Deutsche Bank Moscow is the first International Central
Securities Depositary (ICSD) to offer settlement in Russian equities. The
link will initially include over 50 of the most liquid Russian stocks,
including Gazprom, as well as Ministry of Finance bonds.

As of May 18 Clearstream customers will be able to settle domestic free of
payment transactions via Deutsche Bank Moscow, Clearstream’s depository in
Russia.

Clearstream registered strong growth in April for all of its main business
areas breaking new records in Global Securities Financing Services.

In April the number of monthly international transactions processed rose 25
percent to 2.01 million (April 2005: 1.61 million). Of these transactions,
70 percent were Over the Counter (OTC) transactions and 30 percent were
registered as stock exchange transactions. Domestic settlement transactions
in Germany increased 11 percent reaching 3.01 million compared to 2.70
million for the same period last year. Of these transaction 69 percent were
stock exchange transactions and 31 percent OTC transactions.

In March the number of monthly international transactions processed rose 37
percent to 2.44 million (March 2005: 1.78 million). Of these transactions,
71 percent were Over the Counter (OTC) transactions and 29 percent were
registered as stock exchange transactions. Domestic settlement transactions
in Germany increased 25 percent reaching 3.85 million compared to 3.09
million for the same period last year. Of these transaction 69 percent were
stock exchange transactions and 31 percent OTC transactions.

The value of assets held under custody on behalf of customers rose to a
record € 9.1 trillion, a 17 percent rise from March 2005 (€ 7.8 trillion).
Securities held under custody in Clearstream’s international business
experienced a rise of 17 percent from € 3.5 trillion to € 4.1 trillion. On
the domestic German business, securities held under custody rose by 17
percent from € 4.4 trillion to € 5.1 trillion.

375 million contracts traded in Q1, 2006, up 20 percent on Q1, 2005/
Record trading in both fixed-income and index products/
Single stock futures trade more than one million contracts in March

Eurex, the world's largest derivatives exchange, reported on Monday that a
total of 149 million contracts were traded in March. This is the strongest
trading month ever on Eurex and marks an increase of approximately 27
percent on March 2005. The previous record trading month was June 2005 with
126 million contracts. On March 7, Eurex set a new daily trading record
with 10.4 million contracts. The average daily trading volume in March was
6.4 million contracts.
In the first quarter on 2006, 375 million contracts were traded on Eurex,
compared with 312 million for the first quarter of 2005.

Trading volume records were also set in the fixed income and equity
derivatives segments. Over 81 million contracts were traded in the fixed
income derivatives segment, up 20 percent on the previous March (67.7
million contracts). Approximately 35 million contracts were traded in the
Euro-Bund-Future, an increase of 14 percent on the same month in the
previous year. Trading volume in the Euro-Schatz Future was up 30 percent
year on year and with 18 million contracts traded. The Euro-Bobl future
contract traded 20.5 million contracts, an increase of approximately 23
percent. All three products, as well as the Euro-Buxl future, had trading
records in March.
