London - BNP Paribas is pleased to announce the appointment of Guillaume
Amblard as Global Head of Fixed Income Trading and Quantitative Research.
This appointment is part of a strategic plan to strengthen the business'
global trading platform and to continue to expand its client franchise
across all markets. Guillaume is based in London and reports to Frederic
Janbon, Global Head of Fixed Income.
Guillaume has worked at BNP Paribas since 1990, most recently as Global
Head of Interest Rate & Foreign Exchange Trading. In addition to his
current role, Guillaume will take on additional responsibility for the
Structured Credit, Credit Arbitrage and Flow Credit Trading teams, as well
as BNP Paribas' industry-recognised Quantitative Research group.
Previously, Guillaume held various positions in quantitative research,
exotic trading, inflation and vanilla option trading in Tokyo, London and
New York.

BNP Paribas saw 2007 revenues grow by 11% and net income group share by 7%,
against a backdrop of very difficult economic and market conditions over
the second half of the year. In 2007, all business lines achieved many
notable sales and marketing successes. The Group continued to expand both
organically and through acquisitions, in particular in retail banking in
Europe and in emerging markets (over 400 branches opened or acquired and
1.7 million new customers in 2007).

Despite the deepening crisis, in the fourth quarter of 2007 BNP Paribas
recorded an estimated gross operating income of €2.2 billion and an
estimated net income group share of €1.0 billion.

All of the Group's core businesses, including Corporate and Investment
Banking (CIB), have positively contributed to this result. CIB has

New York -- Citi today announced three key senior executive appointments in its Alternative Investments and Markets & Banking units that will help advance the company's growth opportunities in alternative investments, Latin America banking, and the U.S. cash equities business.

The company named Edward "Ned" Kelly President of Citi Alternative Investments (CAI), reporting to John Havens, CAI Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Kelly will chair the CAI Management Committee and assume responsibility for the business and many of its investment centers. Mr.Kelly will help drive the growth of CAI, a leading alternative investments platform with more than $59 billion of assets under management.

BNP Paribas is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Joachim von
Rheinbaben (38) in the newly created role of Head of Real Estate Corporate
Finance in Germany, Having started at the bank on 1st January 2008, Von
Rheinbaben joins from Bankhaus Metzler and brings over nine years extensive
knowledge of Mergers & Acquisitions and the German real estate industry. He
reports to Berthold Muller, Head of Corporate Finance Germany and Charles
Saiag, Head of Corporate Finance Real Estate and Financial Institutions
sectors (based in Paris).

Christine Dillinger (36) also joined BNP Paribas at the beginning of 2008.
